A Reddit user said he did not realize he was being followed until he was already pulling into his driveway. According to his comment in the thread, the other vehicle was a blacked-out, lifted Ford Expedition.
He wrote that after he turned into the drive, the SUV did not keep going. Instead, it pulled in behind him and parked sideways across the end of the driveway, blocking him from getting back out.
He said that was when he drew his pistol, but he stayed inside his car. From the way he told it, he was sitting there trying to decide what was about to happen next and making up his mind that if somebody was going to force the issue, it would be the other driver’s decision.
He did not describe a long confrontation or some exchange through the window. The story was short, tense, and all about that one moment of being pinned in at home with an unknown vehicle blocking the way out.
According to the comment, the situation ended without anyone getting out of the SUV. After a few minutes, the driver did a burnout and sped away, going about 60 miles per hour through a 30 mph neighborhood.
That was the whole story as he told it: he noticed too late that he had been followed, the SUV cut off his exit by parking sideways across the driveway, he drew and stayed in the car, and after a few minutes the other driver finally took off.
What do you think — once a vehicle follows you home and blocks your driveway like that, are you staying in the car like he did, or trying to get inside the house as fast as possible?
